Energetic Mover/Packer — Key Responsibilities And Duties
- Safely lift, carry, load, unload, and transport furniture, appliances, and boxes.
- Protect and wrap items using appropriate materials (blankets, shrink wrap, straps, padding).
- Secure items within moving vehicles to prevent damage during transit.
- Follow company safety procedures and best practices for lifting and handling.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate moves.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service at client locations.
- Maintain trucks, equipment, and supplies in clean, working condition.
- Assist with inventory tracking and basic move documentation.
- Previous moving, packing, warehouse, or delivery experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to company-defined limits) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends as needed.
- Comfortable working in variable weather conditions and on varied terrain.
- Team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills.
