Skilled HVAC & Plumbing Technician
Pay: Starting at $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced HVAC & Plumbing Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and repair skills in both residential and light commercial HVAC and plumbing systems. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who takes pride in quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
- Install and replace HVAC equipment, including condensers, air handlers, compressors, evaporator coils, blower motors, thermostats, and related components.
- Troubleshoot electrical and refrigeration issues.
- Perform plumbing repairs and installations, including water heaters, faucets, toilets, drains, garbage disposals, water lines, and fixtures.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing leaks and clogged drain systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine service calls.
- Complete work orders accurately and communicate findings with customers and management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures and company standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable HVAC and plumbing experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with HVAC installations, repairs, refrigerant charging, and electrical diagnostics.
- Knowledge of residential plumbing systems and repair techniques.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable personal vehicle for transportation to and from work.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor environments.
- Excellent work ethic, punctuality, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- EPA Certification (preferred).
- Experience with heat pumps, split systems, package units, and gas furnaces.
- Experience using digital gauges and HVAC diagnostic equipment.
