What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate hiring: post jobs, schedule interviews, and communicate with candidates
- Guide new hires through onboarding and help departing employees with offboarding
- Keep employee records accurate and up to date in HRIS
- Responsible for payroll and benefits administration, including enrollment and responding to employee questions
- Oversee and coordinate with our third-party fleet management company regarding company vehicles
- Manage company risk programs, including vehicle, business, and workers’ compensation insurance programs
- Help run HR projects, training sessions, and employee engagement initiatives
- Generate HR reports and assist with compliance tracking
- Be a trusted point of contact for employees, offering guidance and escalating issues when needed
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field (preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in HR or administrative roles
- Familiar with HR practices, labor laws, and HRIS systems
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- A strong communicator who can handle confidential information with care
- Tech-savvy: comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and other HR tools
- Able and willing to travel in frequently throughout Ohio
