Job Title: Porter / Wash Bay Associate
Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Porter / Wash Bay Associate to join our team. This position plays an important role in keeping our dealership lot, showroom, and vehicles clean, organized, and customer-ready. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys staying active, and works well in a fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities
- Wash, dry, vacuum, and clean vehicles to company standards for customer delivery, service appointments, and lot presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of the wash bay, service drive, showroom, customer lounge, and dealership grounds.
- Move and park vehicles safely on the lot, in service areas, and around the dealership as needed.
- Assist with lot organization by arranging inventory vehicles neatly and keeping display areas clean.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, damage, or maintenance needs and report concerns to management.
- Install temporary tags, fuel vehicles, and prepare vehicles for customer delivery.
- Support service and sales departments with vehicle pick-up, drop-off, and general errands.
- Remove trash, debris, and keep all work areas clean and hazard-free.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with guests.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Previous porter, car wash, detailing, or dealership experience preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required for at least 1 year.
- Ability to safely drive automatic and manual vehicles is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping vehicles clean and presentable.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed.
