Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest activity and entry points
- Apply chemical agents safely and effectively using proper pesticide management techniques
- Utilize ladders, hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery to access hard-to-reach areas for treatment
- Implement integrated pest management strategies tailored to each situation for long-term pest prevention
- Operate company vehicles responsibly while adhering to all safety protocols and traffic laws
- Perform confined space entry procedures when necessary for specialized treatments in enclosed areas
- Educate customers on pest prevention practices and provide exceptional customer service throughout each interaction
Skills
- Strong knowledge of pest control methods, pesticide application, and chemical handling safety procedures
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using ladders, hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery
- Understanding of entomology principles relevant to identifying pests and selecting appropriate treatments
- Familiarity with safety protocols including respiratory protection and confined space entry safety procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Experience in outdoor work environments such as lawn care, farming, landscaping or agriculture is highly desirable
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely while maintaining adherence to all safety standards
