Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and proactive Key Holder to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in store operations, customer service, and team management. As a Key Holder, you will support store leadership in opening and closing procedures, ensuring smooth daily operations, and maintaining excellent customer experiences. Responsibilities
- Assist with opening and closing the store, including securing premises and cash handling procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage daily store operations, including inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising
- Support sales initiatives through effective product presentation and promotional activities
- Supervise team members during shifts, including training new employees and providing ongoing coaching
- Handle POS transactions accurately, including sales processing, returns, and refunds
- Maintain organized store environment adhering to safety and cleanliness standards
- Assist with employee orientation, training & development programs, and scheduling
- Oversee inventory management tasks such as ordering supplies, stock rotation, and shrink control
- Support management with payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative duties as needed
- Uphold company policies regarding pricing strategies, marketing efforts, and promotional campaigns
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, management, or supervisory roles; assistant manager experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and interact professionally with customers
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and store presentation
- Knowledge of POS systems, retail math, cash handling procedures, and merchandising techniques
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising staff and managing shift operations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Experience in recruiting, employee orientation, training & development is preferred
- Proficiency in budgeting, sales management, marketing strategies, and store management practices
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Strong organizational skills coupled with phone etiquette and professional communication abilities
