Warehouse Manager

About the Role:

The Warehouse Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing all warehouse operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely processing of goods. This position is responsible for managing the flow of inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance within the distribution center. The Warehouse Manager leads a team to execute order picking, inventory control, and international shipping processes while leveraging Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to streamline operations. By collaborating closely with supply chain and logistics partners, the manager ensures that customer demands are met with precision and that operational costs are controlled. Ultimately, this role drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and support the overall supply chain strategy of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing warehouse operations in a distribution center environment.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
• Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, including international shipping regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Supply Chain or Logistics (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP).
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse or distribution center.
• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to drive operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in warehouse environments.
• Experience with advanced inventory forecasting and demand planning tools.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, order picking, and inventory management to meet company performance goals.
• Manage and train warehouse staff to maintain high levels of productivity, safety, and accuracy.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and optimize storage solutions.
• Coordinate international shipping logistics ensuring compliance with customs regulations and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with supply chain and distribution teams to forecast demand, plan resources, and implement process improvements.
