By collaborating closely with supply chain and logistics partners, the manager ensures that customer demands are met with precision and that operational costs are controlled. Ultimately, this role drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and support the overall supply chain strategy of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing warehouse operations in a distribution center environment.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, including international shipping regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Supply Chain or Logistics (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP).
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse or distribution center.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to drive operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in warehouse environments.
- Experience with advanced inventory forecasting and demand planning tools.
