We are looking for a Civil Foreman to join our team! The Civil Foreman is responsible for supervising and leading a crew of 3–5 employees while operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and other construction equipment.

We are looking for a Civil Foreman to join our team! The Civil Foreman is responsible for supervising and leading a crew of 3–5 employees while operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and other construction equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a crew of 3–5 workers on construction and site development sites.
- Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, and skid steers.
- Coordinate daily job site activities and assign tasks to crew members.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Perform excavation, grading, trenching, land clearing, and site preparation.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Monitor crew productivity and maintain project schedules.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Train crew members on proper equipment operation and safe work practices.
Qualifications
- Heavy equipment and construction experience
- Previous foreman or crew leadership experience preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and manage crews of 3–5 employees.
- Knowledge of construction safety procedures and site operations.
- Ability to read construction plans and elevations.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred.
Work Environment
- Outdoor construction and excavation job sites.
- Work performed in varying weather and terrain conditions.
- Frequent lifting, climbing, standing, and operation of heavy machinery.
