What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Safety Coordinator position at All Star Electric L.L.C?
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to lead and oversee all safety operations. This is a critical role focused on ensuring the highest safety standards across the jobsite.
Ideal Candidate:
- Licensed electrician with field experience
- Extensive safety training and certifications (OSHA, NFPA, First Aid/CPR)
- Proven track record of implementing and enforcing safety practices on construction sites
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters on the project
- Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety programs
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and trainings
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, and lead corrective action processes
- Mentor and support field staff in safe work practices
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of commercial electrician experience (if applicable)
- 100% travel required
- Must pass drug screen
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (weekends as needed)
