Core Buyer – Full Time
About the Position:
We are looking for All Stars! If you are a dedicated individual interested in joining a growing company in the automotive parts industry, we want you on our team!
The Online Core Buyer will build relationships with suppliers through online sources by Purchasing specific inventory based on distribution center needs while maintaining a certain gross profit. They will also connect local suppliers with distribution centers in their various markets.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Identify and build relationships with suppliers via online platforms
- Identify quality product from suppliers’ online and onsite inventories
- Act as a liaison between suppliers and distribution centers
- Negotiate single item or multiple item purchases from suppliers via online platforms
- Create purchase orders and credit purchase orders for returned product
- Open returns and monitor returns process for product rejected at distribution centers
- Monitor purchase orders not received by warehouses
- Communicate with Admin and Supervisor daily
- Adhere to the overall culture of the company that we’re bringing passion and service to our job each day
- Monitor own personal performance via reporting tools provided
- Pick up all MSO core lights and deliver to local warehouse
- Support marketing initiatives at shops where lights are picked up.
Skills and Experience:
- MVR, Drug and Criminal Background Screen required
- Industry knowledge is a plus
- Attention to detail
