Duties
- Lead daily cheerleading and dance sessions, teaching routines that are age-appropriate and inclusive for all skill levels

- Supervise campers during practice, performances, and free time to ensure safety and positive behavior
- Incorporate fun fitness activities such as climbing, martial arts (like Karate or Judo), swimming, or basketball to diversify camp programming
- Manage behavior management strategies to promote respectful interactions and a supportive camp atmosphere
- Collaborate with other coaches and camp staff to organize performances, competitions, or showcases that highlight camper achievements
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health club and gym safety standards, including basic first aid when necessary
Experience
- Prior experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is highly desirable
- Background in cheerleading, dance, martial arts (such as Karate or Judo), swimming, or gymnastics is preferred
- Lifeguard experience is a plus for supervising aquatic activities safely
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of various ages and skill levels in a childcare or educational setting
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques to foster positive camper interactions
