Responsibilities: - Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections - Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and transmission issues - Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs - Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues - Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as tune-ups and fluid replacements - Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles - Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions Qualifications: - Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or service technician - Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components - Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment - Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus - Experience operating heavy equipment, forklifts, and cranes is a plus - Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently - Good communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
