What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer/Digital Production position at All Service Graphics?
Graphics Department: Graphic Design, Adobe Suites, "production" workflow for Commercial Printing. Must have digital printing, Graphic Design, and file correction experience. Imposition experience required. Kodak Prinergy workflow experience a plus, but will train if you have other similar software knowledge. Also will have responsibilities to the Digital Copier workflow and production (i.e. using a guillotine cutter and pile fed folder). Any experience with file/data merging for variable workflows is also helpful. Job opening located in Melbourne, Florida.
Requirements:
- Extensive Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily InDesign and Photoshop).
- Experience with variable printing a plus.
- Extensive Experience with handling digital files in a variety of formats.
- Ability to think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts for both internal and client purposes.
- Have a basic knowledge of paper stocks, weights, and finishes.
- Management of creative workflow and/or creative personnel a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Good mathematical skills.
- Understanding of USPS postal regulations as they relate to piece dimensions and layout a plus.
- High school or GED equivalent.
