All Service Asphalt is looking for a knowledgeable and dependable Foreman to lead our crew in delivering high-quality asphalt projects. As Foreman, you’ll coordinate daily tasks, ensure safety standards are met, and support your team in producing consistent, professional results. We're looking for someone who leads by example, takes ownership of their work, and has the initiative and confidence to make sound decisions without constant supervision. The ideal candidate can motivate a crew, adapt to challenges in the field, and keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule. If you're a proven leader with asphalt construction experience, we'd love to have you on our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and job specifications to ensure accurate execution of each project.
  • Review the upcoming job schedule and anticipated projects in advance, understand the scope of work required for each job, and ensure the crew is prepared with the necessary equipment, materials, and work plan.
  • Coordinate daily job activities, ensuring the crew, equipment, and materials are organized and ready for efficient project completion.
  • Understand and apply codes, regulations, and requirements to each job
  • Order asphalt and track tonnage to ensure accurate quantities and timely delivery to each job site.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills by identifying job site issues, making sound decisions, and taking initiative to resolve challenges while minimizing delays and maintaining safety.
  • Communicate and use proper hand signals for backing up asphalt trucks and directing traffic flow on the job site.
  • Operate heavy equipment including bobcat, roller, paver, dump truck, and various small tools.
  • Lead and direct crew members to work efficiently, maintain productivity, and stay on schedule.
  • Ensure all required tools, equipment, and materials are gathered each morning and prepared for the full workday.
  • Schedule routine maintenance for equipment and keep accurate records to prevent downtime and maintain safe operation.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and assist with physical labor when needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in asphalt paving with at least 5years in a supervisory role managing a crew of 10
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred, and reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in operating paving and heavy equipment.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday: Start and end times may vary based on job site needs and project completion.
  • Weekend work is not typical, but may be required occasionally based on project needs
  • Holidays Off
