Job Overview

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Tree Groundsman to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in supporting our tree crew by maintaining safe, clean job sites and assisting with tree care and removal operations. You'll work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, operating equipment, cleaning up debris, and learning valuable arboriculture skills. Whether you have previous tree service experience or are eager to learn, we welcome motivated individuals with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tree removal, pruning, and trimming operations.
• Operate a wood chipper safely and efficiently.
• Clean up tree debris and maintain safe, organized job sites.
• Assist with rigging branches and limbs during tree work under the direction of experienced crew members.
• Safely operate chainsaws and other equipment as experience and training allow.
• Support the crew with loading, hauling, and general grounds maintenance.
• Perform routine inspections of work areas to identify and address safety hazards.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Chainsaw experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Previous experience in tree service, landscaping, grounds maintenance, or construction is a plus.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well as part of a team while following instructions and safety procedures.
