Job Overview
The Sales Estimator plays a vital role in supporting Customers and the Outside Sales Team by providing accurate, timely quotes and converting them into actionable sales orders. This position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. The Sales Estimator ensures that quotes and sales orders are processed efficiently, contributing directly to the company’s sales and margin goals while reflecting the core values of All Seasons Printing.
Duties
Estimate Quotes Accurately and Timely
- Use information provided by Customers and Outside Sales to prepare a comprehensive quote.
- Research solutions/product when necessary.
- Determine what factors of production will influence the cost of a service/product.
- Enter all details in the quote. Notes should be complete and accurate.
- Deliver quotes to customers consistently in a timely manner within 24 hours/follow up within 72 hours.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers.
- Exhibit high energy, a positive attitude, and critical thinking.
- Follow up with Outside Sales on aging quotes.
Process Sales Orders
- Convert quotes to sales orders within 24 hours of receipt of customer approval.
- Use information provided by the Customer and Outside Sales to prepare sales orders.
- Enter all details on sales orders. Notes should be complete and accurate.
- Track progress of sales orders.
- Notify customers of any delays or changes to sales orders.
- Ensure customers have good contact information.

- Proficiency with the word processing, spreadsheet, and quote/order processing software.

Qualifications
- Experience in estimating, sales support, or order processing preferred (signage/print industry a plus).
- Strong proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, and quote/order software tools.

- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight timelines.
- Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and customer-first mindset.
