Driver/Cleaner

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Driver/Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring a safe and welcoming space for all. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Ensure that all areas are clean and well-maintained, including restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Move furniture and equipment as necessary to facilitate thorough cleaning.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in service.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning needs and priorities.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.

Skills

• Experience in bus driving or route driving is a plus.
• Ability to operate various vehicles such as box trucks or forklifts is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
• Familiarity with moving logistics or freight handling can enhance operational efficiency.
• A background in militarized environments may be advantageous for discipline and attention to detail.
• Previous experience with limousine services or yard jockey operations is appreciated but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed

• Company driver
