Position: HVAC Installer
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour, depending on experience Spiffs
Hours: Monday through Friday | 7:00am to 5:00pm | Occasional overtime
What you will be doing:
- Complete residential and light commercial HVAC retrofit and replacement installations
- Install both ducted and ductless heating and cooling systems
- Install and connect natural gas piping for HVAC equipment
- Run and install refrigeration line sets in accordance with industry standards
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction blueprints
- Test, balance, and verify proper system operation after installation
- Educate customers on their new equipment and recommend indoor air quality products when appropriate
- Mentor and train installation apprentices and new team members on proper installation techniques
- Lead installation crews by overseeing workmanship, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule
Qualifications:
- 4 years of hands-on experience completing residential HVAC retrofit and replacement installations
- 06A or 06B Electrical License - Desired
- Active electrical trainee card with documented training hours
- EPA Universal Certification required
- Strong knowledge of residential HVAC system design, ductwork layout, and installation practices
- Experienced in installing and servicing refrigerant systems, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, and residential/light commercial HVAC equipment
- Working knowledge of HVAC low-voltage electrical controls and wiring
- Ability to mentor, train, and supervise an installation helper or apprentice
- Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company insurance requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education required
Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
Salary : $35 - $50
