Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role located in Milwaukee, WI. The Truck Driver will be responsible for operating and maintaining company vehicles, transporting materials to designated locations safely, and ensuring compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Responsibilities include loading and unloading shipments, conducting vehicle inspections, and maintaining a high level of safety while on the job. Attention to detail and adherence to schedules will be crucial for this role.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with a strong understanding of truck operations
- Proficiency in truck driving and safe handling of materials
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance requirements
- Experience in loading, unloading, and effectively managing transportation tasks
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical ability to handle loading and unloading tasks
- Prior experience with recycling or scrap material transportation is a plus
