Overview
All Saints Catholic Church and School is seeking a creative, organized, and mission-driven Communications Coordinator to help tell the story of parish life across print, digital, web, and social media platforms. This 32-hour-per-week, benefits-eligible role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, editing, graphic design, website management, and collaborating with ministry leaders to create clear, engaging communication that connects people to the mission of the Church. Responsibilities include managing parish publications and email communication, overseeing website and social media content, supporting event promotion, maintaining communication standards and brand consistency, and helping ministries communicate effectively with parishioners and the broader community. The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic with strong communication and organizational skills, experience with platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, and web tools, and the ability to balance creativity, collaboration, and attention to detail in a dynamic parish environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage parish communications, including weekly bulletins, emails, newsletters, publications, and event marketing materials.
- Develop and execute communication strategies that support parish ministries, programs, events, and community engagement while ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
- Oversee parish digital communications, including website management, social media content, and online engagement initiatives.
- Provide guidance on communication standards, copyright compliance, style guidelines, and archdiocesan communication policies.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, parish leadership, and staff to ensure timely and effective communication delivery.
- Supervise the Communication Support Team and assist with communication-related projects, budgets, and shared resources.
- Support the mission and life of the parish through active collaboration, relationship-building, and participation in parish activities and committees.
Requirements
1. Demonstrate understanding and acceptance of Catholic doctrine.
2. AA, BA or Certification in Communication, Web Design, or equivalent experience.
3. Experience in Graphic design, digital communication, and/or print communication.
4. Demonstrated competence with multiple communication platforms including Microsoft office, Abode Pro (in Design) and the ability to learn other platforms quickly.
5. Ability to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and an acceptable credit report
