Job Title: Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Biller/Coder - CPC
Pay: $24–$28/hour (based on experience)

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced RCM Biller/Coder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurate coding and billing of professional services to ensure timely, compliant, and clean claim submission across multiple sites. This position plays a key role in supporting overall revenue cycle performance and works closely with internal teams to resolve billing and coding issues.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately assign CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes based on provider documentation
Submit claims in a timely manner to ensure clean claim rates and minimize denials
Manage billing and coding work queues within Athena and Epic
Identify and address documentation gaps or inconsistencies
Review and resolve coding-related denials, rejections, and medical necessity issues
Follow up on unpaid or denied claims requiring coding review
Respond to internal billing and coding inquiries as needed
Maintain compliance with payer guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal standards
Stay current on coding updates and payer policy changes
Participate in team meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Current coding certification required (CPC)
Minimum 2–4 years of medical billing and/or coding experience
Experience working in multi-specialty or multi-site environments preferred
Hands-on experience with Athena and/or Epic required
Experience with denial resolution and claim follow-up preferred
Skills & Abilities
Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding guidelines
Understanding of payer requirements and revenue cycle workflows
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage workloads and meet productivity targets
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
