Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and conduct epidemiologic investigations and surveillance activities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret statistical and epidemiologic data
- Prepare written reports and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders
- Support disease control and prevention strategies as part of a coordinated public health response
- Conduct case interviews and contact tracing calls in a professional and timely manner
- Work independently on smaller projects and collaboratively as part of a broader team
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Public Health (epidemiology, biostatistics, or closely related concentration required)
- Knowledge of epidemiologic study design, data collection principles, and analytical methods
- Proficiency in standard descriptive statistical techniques
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to work Eastern Standard Time hours remotely
Additional Details:
- Fully remote; no relocation required
- Occasional evenings/weekends may be needed based on case volume
- Must be comfortable conducting a high volume of telephone-based case investigations and contact tracing
