Vermeer All Roads in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Field Technician Road Mechanic to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll travel daily to customer sites to diagnose, service, and repair Vermeer machinery and components, ensuring work is completed safely, professionally, and on time. Must have a clean driving record.
Compensation & Schedule
- Hourly pay: $27–$40 (based on experience)
- Production bonuses available
- Full-time schedule with flexibility – no nights or weekends

Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager
- Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulics, hydrostatic, and electrical systems
- Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
- Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare cost estimates, CDK a plus!
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed
- Stay current with industry and technical advancements
- Communicate with the factory for technical support
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience with hydraulics and electrical troubleshooting
- Welding experience required
- Ability to travel daily within an assigned territory
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and ability to multi-task effectively
