What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker/Decorator position at All Roads Coffee & Baked Goods?
Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
- Follow recipes and ensure that all ingredients are measured accurately
- Monitor baking process to ensure goods are baked to perfection
- Decorate and present finished products
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in a commercial bakery setting
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of pastry techniques, dough preparation, baking and decorating
- Baking education is a plus
As a Baker, you will play a vital role in our kitchen by preparing delicious vegan baked goods for our customers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about baking and is a self starter. If you have experience in the baking industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. We are a 100% plant based coffee shop and bakery so any knowledge or experience with vegan baking is a huge plus!
Schedule
- Part-time
- Wednesday to Sunday
- Morning hours 6-1 (Wednesday-Friday)
- Morning hours 5-12 (Saturday-Sunday)
