About Us
All Purpose Storage (APS) is a locally owned and rapidly growing self-storage company dedicated to keeping our facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for our customers. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Facility Inspector to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, staying active, and taking pride in maintaining properties to professional standards.
What You’ll Do
As a Facility Inspector, you’ll be the eyes and ears on-site, making sure our storage facilities are secure, rent-ready, and up to APS brand standards. Typical responsibilities include:
- Conducting unit inventories twice weekly (reporting rent-ready, locked, or non-rentable units).
- Preparing and cleaning newly vacated units to meet rent-ready standards.
- Performing light maintenance such as latch replacement, troubleshooting gates, cameras, or internet, and hanging small signage.
- Completing property walkthroughs: picking up trash, pulling weeds, reporting suspicious activity, and keeping grounds neat.
- Submitting weekly reports with photos for accurate documentation.
- Supporting seasonal tasks such as pest control setup, exterior cleaning, gutter maintenance, and gate lubrication.
- Meeting with customers, vendors, and contractors as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces clean and safe.
- Ability to use hand tools for light maintenance.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and independent—able to manage your own schedule.
- Physical ability to walk large facilities, lift/move up to 50 lbs, and work in varying weather conditions.
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and apps for reporting.
- Clear communication skills to interact with team members, vendors, and customers.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $22 – $25 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule & Location
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- On-site role with travel between facilities as needed
