We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Hauling Helper / Truck Crew Member to join our team. This role involves assisting with the transportation of materials, supporting the truck driver, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, safety-conscious, and committed to ensuring efficient and smooth operations on every job site.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks in a safe and efficient manner
- Support the truck driver during transportation, ensuring timely deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and work area
- Help with securing loads to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and site personnel
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to promote a safe working environment
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any issues or damages
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete daily tasks and meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious in all work activities
- Prior experience in hauling, trucking, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
- Valid driver’s license preferred; willingness to learn driving responsibilities if applicable
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
