Traffic Control/ Flagger

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

$1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS! ($500 after 30 days, $500 after 90 days)

Job Summary:

As a Full-Time Traffic Control Flagger, you'll play a critical role in maintaining safe and efficient traffic flow in construction and work zones. You'll be responsible for directing traffic, setting up and removing traffic control devices, and ensuring the safety of both workers and the public. This position requires individuals who are reliable, adaptable, and highly committed to safety and strong communication.

Responsibilities:

• Direct traffic flow in construction and work zones using stop/slow paddles and work radios.
• Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices, including signs, stands, cones, and barricades.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers, construction crews (primarily fiber construction and paving companies), and the general public.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere strictly to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Work in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, etc.) and adapt to changing work environments.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers.
• Primarily responsible for one-lane traffic control in a variety of work zones and areas.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle are an absolute MUST. Due to the nature of our work, extensive travel throughout NH (with significant opportunities in the Lebanon NH and Southern NH regions), ME, and sometimes VT is required.
• Ability to work full-time and be flexible with scheduling (primarily M-F, with occasional weekend work).
• Ability to stand for extended periods in all kinds of varying weather.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to reliability and punctuality.
• Strong clear communication skills are one of the most important aspects of this job.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
