Note: These athletes are unable to leave their teams, so this position is almost 100% travel, except for treating Broncos & Nuggets.

ALL PRO SPORTS MEDICINE focuses on a metabolic approach to achieving high athletic performance. This is a very unique service, and we are looking to hire a candidate immediately for either a part-time or full-time position. The position pays a stipend. The candidate will have the opportunity to meet and work with professional athletes of all types, such as NBA & NFL players. He or she will learn about internal medicine principles as they apply to athletics, as well as apply their own skills and clinical knowledge to the position.

The candidate must be a self-motivated, self-disciplined, self-starter, and must display professionalism at all times. He or she must be able to respond positively to direction and constructive criticism as they ascend a learning curve.

This position is most suitable for a recent college graduate looking to gain valuable experience in the field before enrolling in grad school or entering the workforce. **We strongly advise you to have external support to help with your living expenses, or a second job where you make your own hours, such as driving rideshare apps, etc.**

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• A bachelor’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology, athletic training, pre-PT, pre-Med, or related field is recommended. GPA of at least 3.5 in relevant coursework is preferred.
• Must have interest in working with athletes and medical patients. Prior experience a plus.
• Must be comfortable working around blood, needles
• Experience or internship in a physical therapy clinic preferred
• Experience in personal training a plus
• Must be able to travel on less than 24 hrs notice
• Must have driver’s license and be able to drive
• MUST be able to lift 100 lbs collectively
• Must have current valid passport, or apply for one when hired
• Must have strong interpersonal skills
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must maintain excellent personal hygiene and dress professionally at all times
• Must have TSA PreCheck by the time you start work
• Spanish fluency a bonus!

CLINICAL ASSISTANT DUTIES:

• Conduct training sessions
• Assist with stretching
• Assist with rehab exercises
• Perform Ultrasound
• Apply E-Stim
• Responsible for setup/breakdown of therapy table and workstation
• Responsible for stocking/setup/breakdown of supplies
• Responsible for client hospitality

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

• Assistance with exercise program
• Assistance with hygiene
• Packing/unpacking
• Organize and inventory supplies
• Driving/Shuttling
• Errands in Denver and road cities
• FedEx packaging, shipping
• Airport management & navigation

The candidate who is hired might be rotating days with another intern/assistant. The schedule is "on-call," and thus, variable. This job will be based out of Denver, Colorado (flying out of Denver International Airport), and could be expected to spend 10-25 days per month on the road with professional athletes from the NBA, NFL and MLB.
