In this position, a security guard patrols their assigned site on foot and/or in patrol vehicle. Security guards actively observe and report, continually keeping an eye out for anything out of the ordinary. Security guards write hourly reports reporting all that they are doing to keep the site secure and what they find as they do so.

Starting Pay: $17.50-$19.50/hour

General Qualifications

To qualify as a Utah licensed security guard, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Hold a valid Utah security guard license (or be willing to obtain one within 30-days of hire).
• Pass a background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Basic understanding of security procedures and protocols.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Foot patrols to assigned areas to ensure safety.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and report suspicious activities.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service and assistance to our clients.
• Write detailed reports and be familiar with our reporting system.
