AllPro Consulting is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in Houston. This role involves providing quality specimen collection and handling, ensuring efficient lab operations, and offering excellent patient service.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge and store samples as required.
- Explain venipuncture and specimen collection processes clearly and courteously to patients.
- Demonstrate venipuncture techniques using straight or butterfly needles.
- Accurately match lab requisition forms to specimen tubes and follow protocols for specimen storage and transport.
- Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and maintain patient information.
- Respond to inquiries and provide lab results as needed.
Qualifications
- Phlebotomy Certification (as required by the state of employment).
- 6 months of experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- 8-10 years of experience in a related role is preferred.
