About the Role:
We are seeking a Lead Clinical Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. In this role, you will assist in coordinating the daily operations of the pharmacy, supervise a team of pharmacists and technicians, and ensure the delivery of safe and effective pharmacy services. This is a leadership position with opportunities to develop your management skills and advance your career in pharmacy leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, ensuring adequate staffing and workflow management.
- Oversee a specialized area of the pharmacy, such as central unit dose, IV room, or satellite pharmacy.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and efficient medication management for patients.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department.
- Promote a team-oriented environment that reflects the organization’s values of care and respect.
- Stay current with industry trends and participate in ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications:
- PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy) or a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (BS in Pharmacy).
- Oregon Pharmacist License (must be active upon hire).
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or completion of a PGY1 residency with at least 2 years of relevant practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Process Improvement methods (e.g., Six Sigma, LEAN Methodology).
- 1 year of leadership experience in a pharmacy setting.
