What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Body Technician position at All Pro Fire & Safety?
Growing company looking for candidates for employment. Company serves a large foot print in South East Fire apparatus industry. Company has multiple crews and techs on the road and needs to expand inside the plant to support home operations. Operations are based in the edge of Iredell County bordering Alexander.
Auto body technician position available. Experience with auto body repair materials, tools and procedures required. R&I experience needed. Painting experience a plus but not required.
Experience with body filler, fiberglass, primer, masking for spraying, attention to detail, etc. are a requirement.
Candidate must also be willing to acquire basic hand tools of the trade. Consumables and specialty tools provided.
Tear down of older equipment for repair or refurbish is also expected.
Heavy mechanical, service and pm type work is covered by others. However applicant needs to be very capable of handling material in all positions. Getting under, over and maneuvered about various apparatus required.
At this point in company growth the ideal candidate needs to be comfortable having task handed down and capable of working alone and often with a partner. Growth and potential to become a department lead in a more specialized task is a very real potential.
