Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigne:
- Develop and implement daily, weekly, and longrange production schedules
- Work closely with Supervisors and Leads of all manufacturing departments to ensure production goals are met
- Coordinate schedule changes resulting from material shortages, equipment issues, or customer schedules with appropriate departments
- Monitor production across all departments and adjust labor schedules as necessary to meet delivery requirements
- Review production reports daily to identify issues
- Coordinate with Sales to ensure lead times are accurate and identify any issues with orders
- Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure raw materials inventory is accurate and optimal
- Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure machine downtime is limited
- Monitor sales orders, purchase orders, production orders, and related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Work closely with Purchasing, Inventory Control, Production, Shipping, Quality, and Sales departments to resolve order issues and improve communication.
- Conduct root cause analysis and investigate when NC’s are reported due to production errors
