Duties
- Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment adjustments to restore vehicle integrity.
- Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to repair or fabricate sheet metal components.
- Conduct auto painting and auto restoration projects using airless paint spraying equipment and detailing tools to achieve a flawless finish.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and install auto body parts with precision.
- Replace or repair auto glass and perform vehicle maintenance tasks as needed to ensure safety standards are met.
- Assist with auto estimating by assessing damages accurately and communicating repair needs effectively to customers.
- Lift heavy parts or vehicles safely during repairs while adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Must have valid driver's license
- Previous frame repair experience is preferred
Experience
- Proven dealership or automotive collision repair experience demonstrating proficiency in auto body work and mechanical repairs.
- Hands-on experience with MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, auto painting, and auto glass installation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, including vehicle maintenance, auto restoration, and auto painting techniques.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and welding equipment in a collision repair setting.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs.
- Customer service skills for explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring a positive experience for clients.
