What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Content Marketing Specialist position at All Points Media?
Company Description
All Points Media specializes in creative, custom-fit out-of-home and place-based media solutions that connect brands with targeted audiences in high-impact locations across the United States. With more than 20 years of experience, APM has built a strong reputation in the alternative and out-of-home media space, working with leading agencies and global brands to develop innovative campaigns that reach audiences throughout their daily lives.
Our capabilities span strategy, planning, production, installation, and campaign execution, supported by in-house print and installation resources that allow us to deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions. From established media products and nationwide venue networks to custom experiential and place-based programs, we help brands find creative ways to connect with audiences in the real world.
Role Description
All Points Media is seeking a Senior Content Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. This is a full-time role based in Beaverton, Oregon, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows for some work from home after the first 30 days of employment.
This role is ideal for a versatile marketer and content creator who can move comfortably between strategy and execution. The Senior Content Marketing Specialist will lead the day-to-day management and growth of APM’s organic and paid social media presence while developing content that supports brand awareness, lead generation, sales enablement, thought leadership, and broader marketing initiatives across a portfolio of companies.
The right candidate will bring strong marketing instincts, excellent writing and communication skills, and hands-on creative capabilities. You should be comfortable developing a content concept, writing compelling copy, designing a campaign asset, editing short-form video, managing a paid social campaign, and reviewing performance data to understand what is working and what should happen next.
This person will work closely with marketing leadership, sales, account teams, data and insights, and creative and production resources to identify stories worth telling and turn them into effective content across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute content strategies that support company priorities, brand positioning, sales initiatives, and business development goals.
* Own the day-to-day planning, creation, publishing, monitoring, and optimization of organic social media content across relevant platforms.
* Plan, launch, manage, and optimize paid social media campaigns, including audience targeting, creative testing, budget management, and performance reporting.
* Create compelling written and visual content for social media, email marketing, websites, landing pages, case studies, sales collateral, presentations, thought leadership, and internal communications.
* Develop and maintain editorial and social media content calendars aligned with broader marketing campaigns and company priorities.
* Translate campaign results, company capabilities, industry trends, data insights, and client success stories into clear and engaging content for different audiences.
* Design polished, brand-aligned marketing assets for digital and print applications using Adobe Creative Suite and other appropriate creative tools.
* Create and edit short-form video content for social media, campaign recaps, company storytelling, and other digital channels.
* Monitor social media conversations, platform trends, competitor activity, and emerging content formats to identify opportunities for APM and its portfolio of brands.
* Engage with online audiences and help build stronger, more active communities around company brands.
* Collaborate with internal teams to capture campaign photography, video, project information, performance data, and other source material needed for content development.
* Support email marketing initiatives, including campaign content, newsletters, audience segmentation, testing, and performance optimization.
* Contribute to website content development, SEO initiatives, landing pages, and other digital marketing programs.
* Track and analyze content, social media, and campaign performance using platform analytics and other reporting tools.
* Develop regular performance reports with clear insights and recommendations, not simply activity metrics.
* Identify opportunities to repurpose strong content across multiple channels and formats to extend its reach and useful life.
* Maintain consistency in brand voice, messaging, visual identity, and quality across marketing channels and portfolio companies.
* Suggest and test new content formats, channels, tools, and approaches based on audience behavior, platform changes, and emerging marketing trends.
* Support additional online advertising and integrated marketing initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
* 4–7 years of professional experience in content marketing, social media marketing, digital marketing, creative marketing, or a related role.
* Demonstrated experience developing and executing content strategies across multiple channels and formats.
* Strong experience managing both organic and paid social media, including content planning, publishing, audience engagement, campaign management, optimization, and reporting.
* Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences, channels, and business objectives.
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with the ability to independently create polished, professional marketing assets.
* Experience creating and editing short-form video content for social and digital channels.
* Strong understanding of graphic design fundamentals, including typography, composition, hierarchy, brand consistency, and designing for different digital formats.
* Experience with social media analytics tools and performance reporting, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
* Experience supporting email marketing, website content, digital campaigns, or other integrated marketing programs.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across marketing, sales, account management, creative, production, and leadership teams.
* Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, stakeholders, and changing priorities.
* Experience with social listening and a strong awareness of social media trends, emerging platforms, content formats, and changes in audience behavior.
* A portfolio or work samples demonstrating a combination of content development, writing, social media, design, and/or video work.
* Familiarity with outdoor advertising, out-of-home media, experiential marketing, place-based media, advertising agencies, or related industries is a plus.
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Design, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-moving environment and balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
