Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments, ensuring adherence to local electrical codes and NFPA 70 standards.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute installations and repairs.
• Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify faults and determine appropriate solutions.
• Handle high-voltage electrical wiring safely during installation or maintenance of industrial electrical systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate, ensuring compliance with electrical safety procedures.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for wiring, conduit bending, fixture installation, and other electrical tasks.
• Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects to install or upgrade electrical infrastructure in accordance with project specifications.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low-voltage circuits to maintain operational efficiency.

Experience

• Proven experience as an electrician with a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience working on high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical wiring projects within construction sites or renovation projects.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and NEC (National Electrical Code) compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Experience with electrical diagnostics tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and troubleshooting equipment.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems including motor controls, circuit breakers, transformers, and PLCs.
• Construction site experience with framing carpentry or handyman skills is a plus for versatile project support.
• Ability to work safely following all electrical safety procedures while managing multiple tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments.

Pay: $29.45 - $35.47 per hour
