As a Logistics & Sales Support Associate, you will be responsible for safely delivering electrical materials to customers, handling warehouse shipping and receiving duties, and providing support at the sales counter and during deliveries. You’ll maintain a professional appearance, ensure materials are delivered accurately, and assist with inventory management in the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and deliver electrical materials and products to customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Maintain knowledge of materials, tools, equipment, and products to provide superior service to customers.
- Assist in the warehouse with receiving, storing, and distributing materials, ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Provide customer service at the sales counter by answering questions, processing orders, and helping customers with their needs.
- Support the team in various warehouse functions, including order picking, packing, and material handling.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers and provide excellent service at all times.
- Ensure the safe use of warehouse equipment, including hand trucks, box cutters, and tape dispensers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong technical skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in material handling or warehouse operations
- 1 to 2 years of customer service experience
- 1 to 2 years of delivery driver experience
- Experience working in an electrical supply environment (preferred but not required)
Working Conditions: This position operates primarily in a warehouse setting, with occasional outdoor exposure during deliveries. The role involves routine use of warehouse equipment (hand trucks, box cutters, etc.) and office equipment (computers, phones, photocopiers). Physical activity required, including lifting, bending, and loading/unloading materials.
