Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Floor Tech Helper to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Assist with floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance
- Handle cleaning with appropriate equipment and chemical agents, ensuring proper use and safety protocols
- Perform manual handling of cleaning supplies, equipment, and heavy items as needed for various floor care tasks
- Operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, polishers, and carpet cleaners to achieve optimal results
- Support the team in performing detailed floor cleaning and custodial duties across multiple commercial locations
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure all cleaning equipment is properly stored and maintained
- Follow safety procedures when handling floor cleaning chemicals and performing heavy lifting or other physical tasks
Qualifications
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred; familiarity with environmental services is a plus
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly
- Capable of manual handling tasks including lifting heavy equipment or materials
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Willingness to learn new skills related to floor refinishing and advanced cleaning methods
