Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Engage with guests warmly, taking orders and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision, including basic math calculations for transactions.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs to management to ensure smooth service flow.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and alcohol serving policies while practicing responsible serving and checking IDs.
- Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to deliver exceptional service in diverse settings.
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially within fine dining or hospitality settings.
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing.
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly, including knowledge of food safety standards related to beverage handling.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously during busy shifts.
- Background in catering, banquet service, or retail math enhances your ability to manage diverse customer needs effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with a friendly demeanor to foster positive guest interactions.
- Previous experience in brewing or the food industry is a plus for understanding beverage nuances and enhancing guest satisfaction.
