About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our team. The MHP will deliver vital mental health services under the supervision of a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) and program director. This position involves community-based visits, providing support ranging from crisis intervention and skills building to treatment planning and counseling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver strength-based, solution-focused therapeutic services within the community.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of each client’s strengths, diagnoses, treatment goals, and plans.
- Collaborate with Rehabilitation Services staff, community agencies, and natural supports to optimize client outcomes.
- Regularly communicate clients’ progress, mood, functioning, medical issues, and any crisis or safety concerns.
- Ensure timely documentation of session notes, no-shows, and challenges contacting clients in accordance with policy.
- Attend all required training sessions and regular clinical supervision meetings with the Clinical or Team Manager.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- On-call availability as needed
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Rehabilitation Services, or related fields from an accredited institution.
- Fully licensed (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMSW, CSW, or psychology intern from an APA-approved program).
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with adults with severe mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, or chronic health conditions.
- Knowledge of recovery principles and recovery-driven service models.
- Valid Louisiana Driver’s License and necessary state/federal clearances.
