Landscape Technician / Year-Round Opportunity!
Hoffman Development is seeking a full-time year-round Landscape Technician! We take great pride in the appearance and upkeep of our locations and are looking for an experienced landscape enthusiast to join our team.
- All aspects of greenhouse work: potting, watering, transplanting, and plant maintenance.
- Landscape work: soil modification, tilling, planting flowers, trees, and shrubs, mulching, pruning, watering, clean up, weeding, and deadheading, grading and site prep, hardscape and retaining wall work, working with irrigation systems.
- Work independently and with fellow staff members in maintaining Hoffman properties.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid NY State driver’s license.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. from ground to 4 ft.; stoop and lift 30 lbs. from ground to overhead; bend, reach, lift, and climb ladders.
Do you have experience with?
- Planting and landscape installs.
- Pruning trees and shrubs.
- Grading and site prep knowledge.
- Irrigation experience.
- Hardscape and retaining wall work.
- Operate and haul equipment (skid steer, tractor and excavator).

- Full-time/ year-round position
- Monday - Friday - 6:00am to 4:30pm work schedule with opportunity for overtime.
