We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our construction team. Responsibilities
- Tear-of of existing shingle roofs
- Installation of residential shingle roofs according to standards in Alaska using hand tools, power tools, and roofing materials
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on-site
- Utilize skills in carpentry, framing, and other related trades as needed for roofing projects
- Apply caulking, flashing, and sealing techniques to ensure waterproofing and durability of roofing systems
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience in residential roofing installation
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to roofing and construction sites
