Position Summary
The Management Analyst supports the Director in coordinating strategic initiatives, driving operational improvements, and monitoring cross-functional project activities. This role conducts process mapping, evaluates workflow efficiencies, identifies procedural gaps, drafts internal communications, and assists with training development. The Management Analyst is instrumental in translating executive initiatives into actionable project plans, ensuring workstreams are aligned, documented, and progressing toward established milestones.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Director in managing and executing strategic projects across departments
Conduct process mapping and workflow analysis to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
Support the development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal policies
Identify gaps in existing processes and recommend solutions to enhance operational effectiveness
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and monitor progress
Develop and deliver training materials to support new procedures and initiatives
Draft internal communications, reports, and presentations to support executive messaging
Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines; provide regular updates to the Director
Perform data analysis to support decision-making and measure project impact
Maintain documentation and records related to strategic initiatives and operational changes
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
10 years of administrative and project management experience
Experience drafting communications, conducting complex data analysis, supporting project management, and providing senior-level administrative support
Proven ability to work on cross-functional projects, contribute to organizational improvements, and drive project completion
Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to identify root causes and recommend process improvements
Proficiency working with and interpreting large, complex data sets to drive actionable solutions
Experience with government contracting is a plus
Strong communication and analytical skills
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools, including Excel
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Security Clearance
Ability to obtain a clearance may be required.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Professional office environment with routine use of standard office equipment
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time
Occasional movement within the office to access files and office equipment
Constant operation of computers and office productivity machinery
Regular verbal communication requiring clarity, accuracy, and responsiveness
Frequent lifting of office equipment up to 25 pounds
Ability to work indoors 90% of the time
Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and handling tasks requiring manual dexterity
Schedule & Travel
Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Evening and weekend hours may be required based on business needs
Up to 10% local travel may be required
