Description & Requirements

As a Security Guard for the school we are hiring for, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure campus environment. You will be responsible for protecting college property, monitoring campus activities, and ensuring the safety of all individuals on campus. This position requires excellent observation skills, quick decision-making abilities, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol campus grounds and buildings to monitor and ensure security.
• Monitor access points and verify the identification of individuals entering the campus.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
• Assist in crowd control during events and emergencies.
• Conduct regular inspections and report any security hazards or breaches.
• Provide assistance and information to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain accurate and detailed reports of incidents and activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid security guard license in California.
• Previous security experience, preferably in an educational or campus environment.
• Strong observational and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
• Basic knowledge of security equipment and systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Knowledge of campus security procedures and protocols.
• Experience with security technology and surveillance systems.
