Home Health Aide (HHA)/Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, and promoting their independence. Duties

• Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing to clients in their homes.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes in clients' health conditions to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
• Administer basic medical care including catheter care as needed.
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, particularly those with dementia or hospice needs.
• Document care provided and any changes observed in client conditions accurately.

Experience

• Previous experience in home community care or a similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to patient care is advantageous.
• Knowledge of senior care practices, including dementia care and hospice care, is highly desirable.
• Certification in CPR is required to ensure client safety during emergencies.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
