Responsibilities
Drive Business Growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout Mid-Missouri
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to expand market presence
- Generate leads, build relationships, and close new business opportunities
Build and Maintain Client Relationships
- Serve as a trusted advisor to current and prospective clients
- Deliver personalized recommendations based on customer needs
- Address customer concerns quickly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
Manage Sales Activity
- Maintain and manage a consistent sales pipeline
- Track leads, follow-ups, proposals, and closed business opportunities
- Organize and execute sales blitz campaigns and outreach initiatives
Represent the Company
- Attend networking events, community functions, and industry gatherings
- Promote brand awareness and strengthen relationships within the market
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions
Collaborate with the Team
- Work closely with internal teams to support customer success
- Contribute ideas and insights that help improve sales strategies and operations
- Support company growth initiatives while meeting individual sales goals
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management
- Experience in landscaping, construction, property maintenance, or related industries is preferred
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Strong problem-solving and customer service mindset
- Experience with landscape design is a bonus, but not required
- Knowledge of the Mid-Missouri market, including Jefferson City and Columbia, is highly preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
