We are hiring for all shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities Include packaging materials, maintaining inventory, assisting operators, and handling materials using forklifts and overhead cranes. Candidates should be comfortable working in a hot environment and follow safety protocols.
Experience in steel manufacturing or warehouse operations is preferred, and forklift/crane experience is a plus.

- Package material according to the Shop Order using the Packaging Profile or as instructed.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, banding, seals, edge protectors, paper separators, and skids.
- Skidding material.
- Generate computer-assisted setup.
- Select proper knives, set up slitter head, and select and lay out tooling.
- Assist operator/helper and check shipping paperwork.
- Load/unload coils onto flatbed trucks/railcars using forklift and overhead crane.
- Proper placement of coils in the warehouse.
- Inspect, measure, and use tools required for jobs in production and shipping departments.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor/manager in shipping and production.
- Must be able to walk, stand, and bend.
Ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods; experience working in a hot warehouse environment; production and warehouse experience; sheet metal experience; and proficiency in English. A high school diploma or equivalent is also required. Crane and rigging experience is desirable.
