In this role, you will be the go-to expert for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of small engines and equipment. Duties
- Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on small engines, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, generators, and other power equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and power generation systems to complete repairs efficiently
- Conduct engine repairs on various types of engines including diesel and gasoline-powered units
- Maintain detailed service records, update repair logs, and ensure all work meets quality standards
- Manage shop inventory, order parts when necessary, and keep the workspace organized for safety and productivity.
- Keep trucks and machinery cleaned and maintained.
- Keep shop area cleaned
- Assist with other jobs when needed
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or service technician background with small engine or equipment repair expertise
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in engine repair, equipment troubleshooting, and vehicle maintenance
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical diagnostics, welding, soldering, and power tools
- Ability to lift heavy equipment safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly
- Experience working with John Deere or similar heavy machinery is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Knowledge of mechanical systems repair including power generation systems and electrical work
- Self-Motivated

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
