This role is perfect for a technician who enjoys variety and hands-on precision—please note this is a traditional Manual Machinist role, not a CNC position. You won't just be pushing buttons; you will be responsible for the precision machining of critical components, ensuring our customers’ equipment and operations stay up and running.
Key Responsibilities
Precision Machining: Perform high-accuracy tasks using a variety of manual equipment.
Equipment Operation: Set up and operate manual machines, including:
Resurfacer
Cylinder and Connecting Rod Hone
Seat and Guide Machine
Skill Development: Learn the business and expand your expertise through hands-on training.
Shop Standards: Maintain a safe, clean, and highly organized work environment.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience operating manual lathes, mills, or specialized engine machining equipment.
Mindset: Eager to grow a career and become a long-term, valued member of a team.
Attention to Detail: Ability to work to tight tolerances with a "right the first time" approach.
