Role: Project Manager / Estimator
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Client: Stonemile Group LLC
Role Overview:
Hybrid role combining construction estimating and full project life-cycle management. Responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and leading projects from Pre-construction through closeout to ensure quality, budget adherence, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and competitive construction estimates
- Analyse drawings, scope, and specifications to determine requirements
- Solicit/evaluate subcontractor & supplier bids
- Create project schedules, budgets, and work plans
- Manage project execution, progress, documentation & closeout
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers & field teams
- Monitor costs, manage change orders & ensure quality/safety onsite
Qualifications:
- Degree in Construction Mgmt/Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
- 3 years estimating/project management experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials & scheduling
- Proficient with estimating software, MS Office & PM tools
- Excellent organisation, communication & multitasking skills.
